Lindsay

Hygienist

Lindsay was born and raised local to Enumclaw. She has been in the dental field for 15 years (including dental assisting and dental hygiene school) and has been a dental hygienist for the last 10 years. She became a hygienist because of her desire and motivation to help and educate others as well as her love for making connections and relationships. She says "I love that my job helps people in their overall health; one thing I'd like people to know is that I value and appreciate them trusting me with their oral health, I don't take that lightly." Lindsay is also interested in expanding her knowledge of myofunctional therapy. Her hobbies include raising her 2 children, hiking, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends. She hopes to have her own property someday as she enjoys the agriculture and farming the Enumclaw area offers.

Alisha

Dental Assistant

Alisha has been in the dental field for 17 years and is passionate about patient care. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them feel comfortable. Alisha recently moved to Enumclaw with her husband, two children, and dog. In her spare time, she enjoys renovating their family home, weightlifting, and being with her family.

Avery

Dental Assistant

Avery was born and raised in Enumclaw. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute for dental assisting in 2021. Her favorite thing about being a dental assistant is meeting new people and helping them restore their smile. Avery hopes to continue her training and education to become an EFDA (Expanded Functional Dental Auxiliary). When not at the dental office, she loves to ride her three-wheeler with her boyfriend through Greenwater, Naches, and Ellensburg and playing with her two dogs.

Trina

Office Manager

Trina has been in the dental field for 25 years. She completed a Dental Assisting program in 1996 and began working in a dental office both as an assistant to the dentist, and as an administrative assistant in the front office. She has enjoyed being an office manager for 8 years, and joined our team in the Spring of 2021. She loves the dental field and helping patients through the process of receiving great dental care. She feels that being compassionate towards patients' care is important clinically as well as in the support from the front office. She will guide you through each step alongside the rest of the Koontz Dental team. She is available to answer any of your questions, especially regarding your dental treatment and any financial assistance. She has lived in the community for 20 years and has enjoyed raising her two boys in Enumclaw. Trina appreciates her time with her family and looks forward to traveling with them when she can. She is her boys' biggest fan when it comes to their activities.

Darlene

Insurance Coordinator

Darlene started out as a dental receptionist in 1995. Shortly after she focused on insurance billing and payment for patients. She is our liaison between the patient and insurer, making sure the patient's claims are processed correctly and in a timely manner. She enjoys visiting with patients and giggling with her co-workers. She lives locally with her husband of 37 years. In her time off she enjoys spending time with family, snowmobiling and traveling to the tropics.

Kate

Receptionist

Kate can be found at the front desk with a warm greeting when you arrive, answering your questions and calls and helping you check out at the end of your appointment. She began her dental journey back in high school where she did her senior project at Koontz Dental covering all topics one would see at an office. She worked as an assistant for 3 years then made the transfer to the front desk. She enjoys supporting patients to have a positive experience during their dentist visit and love’s building relationships with patients from her very own community. In her free time, she loves camping and spending time with her husband, family and friends and playing with her two crazy dogs.
